John has 30 years’ experience in the Investment Advisory business and owns Argenta Wealth Management. His experience includes leading the advisory firm’s family, business and institutional relationships. A native of Louisiana, John received his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and moved to Arkansas in 1982.
John’s been deeply involved in the Argenta community of downtown North Little Rock, Arkansas. Argenta has become a model in the state for New Urban planning and design. The Argenta District Master Plan won the 2010 Achievement in Comprehensive Plan Award from the AR-Chapter American Planning Association.
Active in the community, John was a founding member of the Argenta Downtown Council, Argenta Arts Foundation, and Argenta Friends of the Arts. He also founded the Art Connection and the Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub. He has served on a range of boards including the Thea Foundation and City Year. In 2012 John was nominated to represent Arkansas to the Mid-America Arts Alliance, a position he continues to hold. John also sits as the board president of the ACANSA Arts Festival.
John was honored as one of Arkansas 10 Most Powerful Men by AY Magazine, and one of the 50 most Influential people in the state by Arkansas Times.
John spends his spare time as an accomplished artist and is spearheading the development of the Argenta Arts District into one of the nation's fastest growing art communities.
